How to download multiple days of Market Replay in NinjaTrader
A practical guide to the workflow problem of preparing several Market Replay days, markets or contracts and how an automated queue can reduce friction.
The common problem
When you need several Replay days for practice, indicator review or training material, the manual task becomes repetitive: choose date, instrument, download and check again and again.
What an automated queue adds
- Define start and end dates.
- Group instruments or contracts in one workflow.
- Review pending items, progress and statuses.
- Reduce preparation errors before using Playback.
Important limitation
The tool can automate the workflow, but real availability depends on NinjaTrader data servers and limits. Work with realistic date ranges and review availability messages.

Professional foundation
Market Replay data: the difference between checking history and reproducing the market.
When reviewing signals, developing indicators, validating AddOns, preparing visual backtesting or creating training sessions, data quality matters. Market Replay allows users to work with a more faithful reproduction of the session available in NinjaTrader than conventional aggregated historical data.
AT Market Replay Data Pro helps prepare that workflow with more structure: multiple markets, date ranges, a visible queue, statuses and technical logs. It does not promise trading results; it helps users work with more appropriate data when the goal is to analyse how the market actually behaved during the session.

Estimated active time: manual download vs AddOn workflow
Actual download time depends on servers, connection quality and availability. This table measures the user’s active time: selecting, confirming, checking and repeating.
| Scenario | Downloads | Estimated manual process | With the AddOn |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 market · 1 day | 1 | 1.5–3 min | 1–2 min |
| 3 markets · 1 day | 3 | 4.5–9 min | 1–2 min |
| 3 markets · 3 days | 9 | 13.5–27 min | 1–3 min |
| 3 markets · 1 market week | 15 | 22.5–45 min | 1–3 min |
| 3 markets · approx. 1 month | 60 | 90–180 min | 2–5 min |
Conservative estimate based on 1.5–3 minutes of manual intervention per individual download. Transfer time may still exist, but repetitive user intervention is significantly reduced.
